IT can be hard to know what to buy your partner for Christmas, but one woman has shared three things “no woman wants”.

While Kaitlyn has racked up 12,000 likes for her banned items, lots of people also slammed her choices in the comments.

She wrote on her @honestly.kaitlyn account: “Things no woman wants for Christmas.”

First up was the classic “live, laugh, love” mug that you can pick up from a high street retailer.

And she also said that she hates receiving “cheap candles” when December 25 rolls around.

Kaitlyn’s third pet peeve when it comes to gifts was “kitchen accessories” and she insisted that they simply “aren’t gifts.”

She added: “Unless she specifically asks for these things, just no.

“Anything for the home (kitchen appliances, vacuums, etc) are not gifts, those are essential items for the home that are for the family.”

Her banned Christmas gift list has caused a stir among TikTok users, with people split in their opinions.

Many slammed her list and said they disagreed with her choices.

One person wrote: “Nahhh give me all the kitchen stuff.”

Another added: “Speak for yourself, I specifically asked my husband for the pink Paris Hilton pan and knives.”

And a third commented: “I think this should be relabeled of things to never get you for Christmas.

“I love candles and I love coffee cups, and I love love new kitchen stuff.”

A fourth said: “kitchen accessories are expensive and it would save me some money so it's a gift.”

Kaitlyn hit back saying: “But why is that YOUR gift and not your husband/partners? Personally I feel like a gift is something you can treat yourself with.”

However, some people agreed with her, with one saying: “everyone knows not to get me kitchen stuff because I hate kitchens lol. I hope I don't get any candles bc I don't want something that is stinky.”

A second said: “Gifts not to give me: clothing, toiletries, bedding…These are things you NEED, these are not gifts.”
