Woman left with bum fully exposed after size 12 Pretty Little Thing dress arrives but would only fit an ‘eight-year-old’

WE all know what it's like to order the dress of our dreams online – only for it to arrive looking little different to how it did in the pictures.

And while it's no big deal when the colour isn't quite what we wanted or the style too "out there", one woman has been left absolutely mortified after her new Pretty Little Thing dress left her bum completely exposed. Awks.

Natalie Weaver, 26, ordered a green polka dot dress from the fast fashion brand to wear for a family bowling night.

And because she varies between a size 10 and 12, Natalie decided to order the larger size to ensure there were no awkward wardrobe malfunctions.

But when it arrived, the shopper claims it would only fit an "eight-year-old child".

Still, Natalie decided to try it on just in case and – like she suspected – the dress totally exposed her bum.

She said: "I ordered it Thursday and requested next day delivery to ensure I had it on time.

"What arrived was apparently a size 12 but fit like a children's age 12.

"Its definitely not for anyone above 5ft3in – in fact, I think it would best fit an eight-year-old!"

Needless to say, Natalie immediately sent the dress back and wore something less X-rated for her evening out with family.

She added: "All of my friends thought it was hilarious, but it's really put me off of ordering from Pretty Little Thing and I don't think I will again in the future."

PrettyLittleThing have been contacted for comment.

For more hilarious fashion fails, this woman was disgusted after buying a "brand new" jumpsuit from ASOS and finding period blood in the crotch.

And this wedding guest's Kim Kardashian-inspired bandage dress has been likened to a "plaster-covered cockroach".

Plus shoppers have been left baffled by a £220 single earring which looks like its still in its cardboard packaging.
