Warning over Fabulosa Shock can radiator hack as people report EXPLOSIONS – with one woman even suffering burns

HOMEOWNERS are warning against Fabulousa’s Shock can radiator hack as they report explosions in their homes – and even suffering burns.

It comes after a cleaning fan recommended using the spray on radiators to remove dust and fragrance your home.

However, one woman was left devastated after the hack caused a ‘fireball’ in her home, blowing her window out and leaving her with burns on her ankles.

In a post she wrote: “⚠️WARNING⚠️ If your thinking of using the shock can to clean out your radiators, DON'T.

“I did this today and some how a massive fire ball explosion happened resulting in my windows being blown out and my both of my ankles burnt.

“PLEASE DON'T DO IT, USE MY EXPERIENCE AS A WARNING.”

The post has since been reshared on TikTok by the Clean Queen, where it has received over 14,000 views leaving people terrified.

Fabulousa has since responded to the Clean Queen where it has urged fans against trying the hack.

A spokesperson said: “Our customer’s health and safety is of utmost importance to us and we take any reported incidents seriously.

“We have contacted the customers concerned so we can investigate.

“Fabulousa and its packaging is fully compliant with all safety regulations on how to safely use them and any associated risks.

“In line with this our Shock Can states quite clearly that it is extremely flammable and should therefore be kept away from heat and all sources of ignition.”

It comes a month after TikTok users shared the dangerous hack.

Cleaning fan Charl filmed herself using Fabulosa's £1.79 Blast Can disinfectant around her home.

Using the "Rainbow Drops" scent, Charl sprayed the sanitising product directly into her radiator in a viral TikTok video – and the air pressure forced any lingering dust to fall out onto the floor.

Luckily for Charl her radiator had been turned off at the time, but cleaning fans should NOT try the hack whether their radiator is on or off.

Fabulous Digital has contacted Fabulousa for a comment.
