Vans is starting off the new year by teaming up with the Where’s Waldo book series to co-create a collaborative apparel and footwear collection. This project emerges not so far after the Anaheim-based skate company teamed up with designer Suwukou for a “Year of the Ox” sneaker capsule.

For over 30 years, the Where’s Waldo series has been entertaining kids and adults alike with its playfully challenging illustrations. And now, Martin Handford’s beloved picture books are lending its iconic graphics to Vans to be translated onto a range of classic silhouettes such as the Old Skool, Authentic, Sk8-Hi and the Slip On. A variety of designs signature to the children’s literature such as the beach scenery, Waldo’s white and red striped shirt patterns, the multilingual phrases are highlighted, all of which uniquely disperse themselves between each aforementioned model.

Alongside the kicks are several clothing items including that of a t-shirt which sports beach imagery coupled with “Off the Wall” branding, a red and white striped tee that has all-over pictures of Waldo himself, a white tee with a portrait image of Waldo and co-branded logos and a grey hoodie with striped patterns lined inside. Two snapbacks are also tossed into the mix to round out the collection.

For Where’s Waldo stans looking to cop, you can find the entire range available now via the Vans web store.

In case you missed it, BILLYS and Vans have cooked up a cow-themed V36OG sneaker.
