A MUM has shared a a trick to get twice as much use from your kitchen roll, but not everyone's convinced it's a great idea.

She shared the hack on TikTok but it's left other parents in hysterics over how 'ridiculous' it is.

"This hack will save you so much money," the text over the clip reads.

In the video, the person uses a bread knife to cut the kitchen roll in half, making two smaller rolls.

The idea is one roll will last twice as long, but the hack was instantly slammed by trolls for being a waste of time.

"Looks really good! I definitely needed tissue flakes with everything I clean with kitchen roll," one person sarcastically commented on the viral video.
