The North Face Japan Takes Its FW20 Editorial to "The Mountain Office"

10/21/2020

The North Face Japan has unveiled a new Fall/Winter 2020 editorial. The imagery captures a series of clean-cut outdoor garments on a sequestered hillside by a tiny “Mountain Office” cabin.

The editorial highlights distinct FW20 pieces, like a crisp white Oxford shirt, hi-tech Ventrix trench coats, insulated parkas and fleece zip-ups, designed for urban life — a curation that’s meant to bridge the space between the outdoors and the workplace. One noteworthy piece is a beige jacket that comes with a breathable weatherproof shell. “The North Face” branding is embroidered at the upper left side of the chest, complemented by long diagonal pockets along the mid-body, while other details like a packable hood and interior quilting round up the jacket’s design. Additional garments like the olive half-zip fleece pullover, nylon slides, weatherized trousers and quilted puffer jackets demonstrate an affinity for modern fabrics while maintaining a refined aesthetic that can easily slot into any office wardrobe.

In case you missed it, The North Face has launched its “Reset Normal” initiative to address inequality in outdoor exploration.
