RECENTLY we saw celebrities strut their stuff at the Third Annual Academy Gala, in Los Angeles.

Celebrities including Cara Delevingne, Dua Lipa and Selena Gomez pulled out their best looks for the 2023 Gala in California.

But it appears that there was a very risque trend that was continuously repeated on the carpet – celebs going braless. 

We saw Kendall Jenner ditch her bra in a tight red Fendi gown as she accidentally had a wardrobe malfunction, with the star’s bare chest seen under the camera flashes.

Not only this, but alongside the Kardashian star, Hailey Bieber left little to the imagination with a black halter-neck sequin Saint Laurent dress. 

The pair stole the red carpet as they posed for pictures – but one thing was made clear, these women were proud to show off their slim waist and ample cleavage.

Discussing the celebrity trend of daring gowns, fashion expert Clemmie Fieldsend told Fabulous: “Kendall Jenner and Hailey Bieber are the ‘It’ girls of their time, and wherever they lead we all follow.

“However, try as we might, us mere mortals never seem to have the same effect when we try it. 

“For example, if it were us wearing a racer, side-boob dress we wouldn’t have Halley's gleamingly smooth armpits.

“There would be an inevitable armpit bulge, dark skin patches or dark clusters of fake tan or even white deodorant marks.

“Let alone one boob slipping out the side in an attempt to escape the restrictive frock. 

“Or, if we were trying to recreate Kendalls red nipple-flashing look we might find we have one boob lower than the other, nipples that are the size of strawberries (not petite-pois like Kendall’s) and more than likely be covered in anxiety induced sweat patches.

“But that's not really our fault. Celebrities are always honest about letting us know it takes a village to get them looking the way they do before they hit the red carpet.

“And we don’t have an army of hair, make-up, nails, arm-pit-checking, nipple-covering experts to inspect every inch of our bodies in different lighting."

For those looking to try out the trend, Clemmie explained: “But if you are desperate to try the trend, arm yourself with nipple pads, or if you're self conscious about the size of your areolas and want them to stay in the correct position all day and all night – try the Skims nipple bra.”

Recently Alex Scott left fans open-mouthed as she went braless in a see-through dress at the GQ Men of the Year awards.

The 39-year-old dressed to impress and left little to the imagination as she posed on the red carpet in the attention grabbing dress, at the event held at The Royal Opera House in London 

The ex-England and Arsenal footballer completed the look with a pair of ankle boots which could be seen through her dress, and styled her hair into a slick back look.

Dua Lipa 

Back in the summer, Dua Lipa stole the show at the Barbie premiere in sunny Los Angeles in a stunning see-through dress.

The pop star went braless in her shimmering chainmail dress through which her silver thong was visible.

Dua worked the pink carpet outside the Shrine Auditorium, showing off her flawless figure in front of the photographers.

Lizzo

Pop star Lizzo also left little to the imagination while wearing a revealing see-through purple gown at Cardi B’s 29th birthday party.

The singer arrived barefoot to the celebrations and put on an eye-popping display in her ensemble.

Underneath, she wore nothing but a pair of briefs and nipple tassles.

Florence Pugh

Hollywood star Florence Pugh, who was recently hit i the face whilst at Comic-Con in Brazil, nipped out at Paris Fashion Week this summer – in a very revealing dress.

The actress looked sensational in a see-through lavender gown, which featured an open back and a plunging square neckline.

She put on a sexy display as she went braless and flashed her cleavage in the transparent Valentino frock.

Rita Ora 

Rita Ora is also a big fan of see-through dresses, and has left many stunned on a variety of different occasions with her risqué outfits.

The Hot Right Now singer bared all in a see-through dress when on a night out in London, as she proudly showed off her incredible figure in the gown, wearing just black knickers underneath. 

She barely covered her assets in the dress, which draped down her chest to reveal her cleavage.

Emily Ratajkowski, the American model and actress is also no stranger to a see-through frock.

The California star dared to bare at the Harper's Bazaar SS17 show in New York, in this plunging black dress.

With her cleavage, hips and stomach on show, the sultry star left many open-mouthed. 

Bella Hadid

Victoria's Secret model Bella Hadid has also worn see-through frocks on a multitude of occasions.

Back in 2019, the brunette beauty left little to the imagination by wearing a dress with a see-through top at Dior's Paris Fashion Week Bal Masque.

She paired the gown with a sparkly choker and a black mask, looking picture perfect as always.

Kelly Brook

But the see-through dress is nothing new.

Glamour girl Kelly Brook stood out from the crowd in this exposing pink sparkly dress at a premier back in 2000.

The now Heart Radio presenter flashed some side boob and showed off her derrière, as she beamed for the paparazzi.

Rihanna

Rihanna is another lover of the see-through dress and opted for a sheer nude dress, with a pair of nude knickers peeping through, at an event in June 2014.
