SOME shoppers queued for hours to get into non-essential businesses earlier this week, but others have shown there are plenty of bargains not to be missed right under our noses in Aldi.

With non-essential shops in England opening on Monday, money saving enthusiasts were quick to hit TK Maxx, Primark and Next to snap up the best cut-price products.

The knock-down prices at Aldi have been the talk of social media, with dozens of happy shoppers flocking to social media to show off their purchases.

The supermarket chain offered major discounts across its home furnishings, accessories and appliances – but the real star of the show was Aldi’s kids’ range.

Taking to the Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, one mum showed off her adorable kids’ bookcase, which came in at £9.99, a considerable reduction from the original price of £29.99.

The bookcase comes in a unisex mint green and is adorned with cute woodland characters including a deer, bear, hedgehog, rabbit and fox – perfect for any nature-loving child.

One savvy mum described the product as “really sturdy” and added that there were also matching chairs, boxes and tables to be found at similarly low prices.

Continuing the woodland animal theme, anther mum showed off her cut-price kids’ rug, reduced to just £2.99. A fellow mother shared her own purchase on the same group, this time a football rug for her son which also came in at £2.99.

A bargain-hunting grandmother showed off her new £5.99 children’s airbed, marked down from the original £15 price tag, the perfect item for fun sleepovers. Social media users went wild for the sweet design, with other people endorsing the airbed.

One wrote, “It’s huge! Great fun though.”

Another mum was chuffed to find a sweet Peppa Pig sippy cup for just 49p, with Paw Patrol options on offer too.

And there was far more than just kids’ bits going for staggeringly low prices inshore – there were plenty of bargains to be found in the homeware section, too.

One shopper paid just 99p for a stunning circular mirrored tray, an elegant buy reminiscent of Mrs Hinch’s home decor. Avid interior fans went wild for the pretty tray, with one commenting that she wanted to buy them as table decorations at her wedding.

Meanwhile, another shopped showed off her chic fabric draws, which are an absolute steal at £3.99 down from £12.99.

The stunning home organisers come in two chic colour options, monochrome and grey, while the decorative pattern adds interest to the piece.

One beauty fan shared her own haul from the German supermarket, including items from its highly coveted beauty range, including items similar to high-end expensive cosmetics.

Her shopping basket included a £3.99 concealer which she compared to a Nars product, a £5.99 eyeshadow palette she likened to Urban Decay’s range and a £2.99 lipstick just like a pricey Kat Von D colour.

Fellow beauty obsessives were quick to comment with their own recommendations of Aldi beauty buys.

“The mascara is a knock off of benefit and its amazing,” one gushed.

In other new of bargain buys, shoppers are going wild for insane TK Maxx bargains, after the shop put on a mega sale for customers

And we told you how one penny-pinching shopper took home 22 bras for just £35 in the M&S mega sale.
