Shoppers are racing to Asda to snap up rival to Ninja air fryer that's a whopping £120 cheaper | The Sun


IF you haven't heard the hype about air fryers yet, then you must've been living under a rock.

But rather than forking out hundreds on a top of the range Ninja appliance, shoppers have been scrambling to Asda to snap up a rival that they say works just as well, but costs a fraction of the price.

Foodies have been going wild after spotting the 'Scoville 4.3 Litre Digital Air Fryer' in Asda – and perhaps the best part?

It's currently in the sale and been slashed from £59 to just £35 – meaning a very impressive £24 saving.

It's a total bargain when compared to a similar size gadget from Ninja, which costs up to £150.

San Cheung took to money-saving Facebook group and was one of many delighted shoppers who shared a snap of his hugely discounted purchase.

He penned: "If anyone is looking for a Airfryer then these 4.3l's are on offer for £35 in Asda currently (this was in the Forge, Glasgow)."

Salma Khan also posted her bargain buy and commented: "£35 in Asda from £59 – bargain!"

The 4.3L air fryer allows up to 500g of food to be cooked to comes with 8 pre-set cooking modes – including fries, meat, fish, snacks, and cakes.


It also features an adjustable temperature range from 85-200C, 60 minute timer and auto shut off at end of cooking time.

And it's good news for anyone who isn't a fan of washing up…because it has 3 layer speckled non-stick coating for easy cleaning, plus a dishwasher safe basket and insert.

The posts have since racked up hundreds of likes and comments between them, with many scrambling to get their hands on the hugely discounted air fryer.

"Also available online from Asda. Bought one for my son who is off to Uni & it’s great," wrote one.

"I have a Ninja, but next time might just buy 2 of these & it would still be less than half the price."

A second commented: "Purchased one last week, love mine,so easy to use."

A third penned: "Just got this to replace my old one and its fab!!"

Meanwhile, a fourth enthused: "I am well impressed!"

Elsewhere, shoppers have also been showing off the huge bargains they've managed to nab in Asda's mega sale.

Amongst the thrilled shoppers was Sammie Jay, who managed to get her hands on some hugely discounted fluffy grey cushions for just 80p each.

Another thrilled shopper named Janet Monks shared a snap of the super stylish light she nabbed in the mega sale – and it's perfect to add a touch of ambience to any home.
