Plus size influencer branded ‘not classy’ hits back at vicious trolls by showing off her bum in a thong bikini | The Sun

A PLUS size influencer decided to hit back at trolls who had branded her ‘not classy’. 

And she certainly had the last laugh when she posted snaps of her showing off her bum in a revealing thong bikini.

Felicity Hayward, who has built up a huge following on social media thanks to her body positivity content, shared two images side by side to her Instagram account.

The first was a snap of her from behind, flaunting her curves in a silver thong bikini and matching top from a recent holiday video taken in the Dominican Republic.

While the second showed just one of the comments she receives from internet trolls as a result of posts like this.

It read: “Be big and beautiful BUT PLEASE dress with class.”

Hitting back, Felicity – the author of Does My Butt Look Big In This? – said that while she had sadly got used to hearing insults about her figure, it doesn’t mean she had to take them.

She told her 288k followers: “I’m aware when I post my body I will get trolled, I’m used to it.

“But what really annoys me is the fact that if a smaller frame was wearing a tiny bikini, would they be told that they need to “ dress with class “ or is it solely the fact it’s just a bigger body.”

She continued to draw on the fact that the fashion industry seems to paint “smaller frames” as “art and high fashion” and allows for lots of skin to be shown.

However, Felicity said “a bigger body is seen as sexual, pornographic and cheap.”

Continuing to say that she was enjoying a sunny vacation with her best friend, she wrote: “Every single body, especially on holiday, deserves to have some sun, fun and enjoyment and wear whatever they deem to be comfortable for them.”

She then revealed the reasons behind her bikini choice.

Felicity went on: “To be 100% transparent, I’m wearing a tiny bikini not only because it’s the first time in forever I’ve found one that fits me properly.

“But also because I’ve been suffering with eczema flare outs all this year and I was desperate to get some sun exposure to help clear it.”

The curve model then rounded off her post by saying: “Just leave women’s bodies and their choices out of your mouth.”

Ever since, she’s been supported by fellow social media users and praised for her dignified response.

One person wrote: “I'll never understand why one person's body is another person's business.”

As a second commented: “When I see your pics I just think how gorgeous your body is and wish mine was more like that lol.
