Obese sugar addict’s incredible 7st weight loss WITHOUT exercise – after ditching choc for breakfast – The Sun

MOST people dream of losing weight without sweating for hours on a treadmill or pumping iron in the gym.

But Cassie Thorpe has done just that – after losing an impressive seven stone without doing any exercise whatsoever.

Cassie, 26, first knew she had to do something about her weight after she ballooned to a staggering 21 stone – just 18 months ago.

She'd been gorging on a block of chocolate every single morning and would binge on sweets, ice cream and greasy takeaway meals throughout the day.

And her self-esteem had plummeted to an all-time low, as she absolutely "hated" looking at her reflection in the mirror due to her obese size 26 frame.

However, in February last year Cassie, from Queensland, Australia, decided "enough was enough" and she ditched her sugar habit for good.


She has now lost an incredible seven stone 12 lbs and six dress sizes – just from swapping to a healthy diet and cutting out fatty foods.

And now Cassie has finally got her confidence back and loves flaunting her brand new 13st 5lbs figure.

She said: "I have always struggled with my weight. I’d pile it on, and then lost some, it was a vicious cycle.

"I had terrible eating habits. I was totally addicted to sugar.

I craved sugar all the time. I’d often have a whole block of chocolate for breakfast, or whatever other sweet thing I could get my hands on

"Sweet things were my weakness. I’d eat chocolate, lollies, cake and ice cream daily.

"I craved sugar all the time. I’d often have a whole block of chocolate for breakfast, or whatever other sweet thing I could get my hands on.

"Then I’d usually have unhealthy takeaway food for lunch and dinner, like greasy Chinese food or a McDonald’s burger meal.

"I’d be totally disgusted when I’d look at my reflection in the mirror.



"I couldn’t believe how I’d let myself go and how big I’d gotten. It affected my entire mood, I hated feeling that way.

"I knew something had to change or I’d always be unhappy with myself."

Cassie's diet

BEFORE DIET

Breakfast: Block of chocolate or other sweet things like lollies or cake

Lunch: Large McDonalds burger meal

Dinner: Takeaway Chinese food such as special fried rice or noodle combo

Dessert: Chocolate, ice cream, lollies or cake

AFTER DIET

Breakfast: Mandarin

Mid-morning Snack: Grissini stick and 100g strawberries

Lunch: 100g lean steak and broccolini

Afternoon snack: Watermelon

Dinner: 100g chicken and spinach

No dessert

Cassie said she struggled with the scales her entire life – and while she would sometimes lose a few kilos here and there, she would always pile even more weight back on.

But thankfully, her weight has stayed off after starting the ‘Slim By Nature’ detox and fat-burning programme, which focuses on special detox drops and a clean eating plan to help shed the pounds naturally.

She said: "I was worried about not losing weight, as I have knees and back problems.
