Nike Blazer Mid '77 Gets Doubled and Reversed Swoosh Treatment

09/16/2020

Nike has given its Blazer Mid ‘77 a number of makeovers in recent months, with some sporting color coding and others going heavy with the doodling, and now the sportswear giant has graced its OG basketball sneaker with a double dose of swoosh logos.

From first glances the Blazer is quite standard, appearing in a classic “White/Sail/Summit White/Midnight Navy” colorway. However, on the lateral mid-panel, you’ll see that its “Midnight Navy” swoosh is indeed printed onto the leather, and it is then overlayed with a reversed OG Nike swoosh logo in orange.

Further orange and navy touches can be found on the tongue tag, while just navy alone has been used for the branding on the suede heels. More suede has been added on the toe and front-quarters to add to the vintage basketball look, while the sneaker’s clean white midsole and matching laces round out the pair.

Take a look at the Nike Blazer Mid ‘77 “White/Sail/Summit White/Midnight Navy” in the gallery above, and pick up a pair for yourself from Nike’s website now, where they retail for £89.95 GBP (approx. $116 USD).
