My summer sandals were looking rough and stank so I gave them a makeover – and all you need is a 5p magic ingredient | The Sun08/15/2022
A WOMAN has gone viral after revealing a genius hack which makes your summer sandals look brand new – and it gets rid of the smell too.
For most fashionistas, summer also means the annual return of sandals and the comfortable Birkenstocks.
But if you're anything like us and rock the iconic shoes on an almost daily basis, you will have noticed they might be looking a bit rough – and don't even get us started on the unpleasant smell lingering around.
Luckily, there is no need to bin them and spend money on a new pair, as one whizz has revealed how a common kitchen item staple can bring the sandals back to life.
The best part? Not only is it cheap and easy, but it also totally works!
The guru, who goes by @walkritepg on TikTok, shared the hack on social media, where it's gone viral.
