My 34H boobs weigh a stone – women are intimidated & blokes leer, every night out ends up with people staring at them

SUFFERING from crippling back pain, always struggling to find any clothes that fit, and having to fend off unwanted attention Kelly Michaud had enough of her size H boobs.

The mum-of-two was desperate for a boob reduction but at a cost of £6,500 to go private, and with no help from the NHS, Kelly felt alone and abandoned in her struggle to live a normal life.

The 26-year-old, from Harrogate, in Yorkshire even lost two stone and regularly exercised under GP’s instructions, however, her excess skin started causing her pain – and her requests for surgery were repeatedly denied.

She “pleaded” her case, submitting a second application in 2019, but was rejected and her GP suggested she’d go private – but with surgery fees, plus the extra thousands for consultations and aftercare, Kelly struggled to find the funds.

That day she set up a GoFundMe page, setting her target at £10,000 and within a month she had hit her target.

She says: “I remember crying to James, feeling stuck and desperate.

“That day I set up a GoFundMe page, setting my target at £10,000 and expecting nothing from it, but within days I'd had more than a hundred donations. I was stunned.

“Within a month, I hit my target.

“Just after hitting my target, completely out of the blue, I received an email from a cosmetic surgeon, Dan Marsh, who had heard about my story and offered to waive his surgery fees and operate for free at his clinic. I was over the moon.”

Kelly, who was often told that she should feel lucky to have her figure, donated the funds she had raised on the GoFundMe page to a breast cancer charity.

Speaking previously, Kelly added: “At first I was very much like, right I want to do this for me (The GoFundMe page). But now I actually want and hope this helps other people.

"I didn’t realise how many women suffer from this issue until I put the fundraiser up. I thought it was sort of quite a small thing, but since launching the fundraiser I’ve had friends I know saying they wish they could have the surgery too.

“You don’t realise how many women out there are going through this.”
