SOMETIMES you just don't have enough time or energy to cook a balanced meal from scratch for the whole family.

But instead of forking out for a takeaway, one mum shared her 'lazy b***h meal' she rustles up several times a week.

Aussie mum-of-three Sarita Holland gets her makeshift dinner done and dusted in under three minutes and swears the whole family will enjoy it.

The foodie said she doesn't feel bad about serving up the same grub every week and insists "it's still healthy, it's delicious and it gets eaten."

To make the deconstructed sushi rolls, you'll need a large bowl to mix everything together – no need to make extra washing up for yourself.

Grab a packet of microwave rice and cook it for for two minutes and pop it straight into the bowl.

Sarita opted for basmati rice, but jasmine, long grain or any other type you already have it home will also do the trick.

Next, she adds a tin of tuna in oil on top of the rice, along with a chopped avocado.

You can add as much or as little as you like, depending on your own taste.

She also throws in a sprinkling of black sesame seeds.

"White sesame seeds. Black sesame seeds. You need sesame seeds, it makes it taste delicious," she said.

The busy mum also added some seaweed sheets and crumpled them up directly into the bowl.

"You can find these big seaweed sheets at any supermarket, or you can buy the small ones that the kids can take in school lunches, you're just going to crush them up," Sarita explained.

A dash of soy sauce or tamari should be drizzled in next – start by adding a small amount and taste before sloshing more in.

Finally, the mum topped the bowl off with a drizzle of mayonnaise, she used Kewpie, but you can go for whichever you prefer.

And if you want to add a bit more flavour, the mum suggested throwing in a few wasabi peas.

She said: "You don't have to do this but if you like a bit of spice you want to chuck some wasabi peas in there."

Mix everything together and serve in a smaller dish – or just grab a spoon and dive right it.

Other lazy food fans loved the quick and easy meal and couldn't wait to give it a whirl for themselves.

One commented on the video: "You should add rice vinegar and it will taste exactly like sushi."

Another said: "I do this but chuck in some cucumber also."
