05/10/2021MEGHAN Markle and Prince Harry’s son is already learning how to count and “keeps saying two”, according to royal sources.
It comes after little Archie celebrated his second birthday earlier this week, with video calls to the Queen, Prince William and Kate.
A royal source said the reason for the donation drive is to teach young Archie how to be charitable.
They told US Weekly: “They want Archie to grow up understanding the importance of giving back.
“Harry and Meghan feel so blessed to have such an articulate and caring child. Archie is learning to count already and keeps saying, ‘Two!’”

Meghan Markle have marked Mother's Day in the US by donating nappies and supplies to an organisation that supports homeless pregnant women.
Harvest Home, shared news of the donation on their Instagram page Sunday afternoon.
"Today, we are thrilled to have the support of Archewell Foundation, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, and Procter & Gamble, who are donating diapers, cleaning supplies, and other essential items to ensure that the moms and babies at Harvest Home are celebrated all throughout the year," the caption said.

COPYRIGHT OF MEGHAN’S LETTER TO DAD ‘DOESN’T BELONG TO THE CROWN’
Meghan Markle, 39, sued Associated Newspapers Limited (ANL), which is also the publisher of MailOnline, over a series of articles which reproduced parts of a “personal and private” letter to her dad, Thomas Markle, 76.
She claimed the five articles, published in print and online in February 2019, misused her private information, infringed her copyright and breached the Data Protection Act.
In February, the High Court granted Meghan summary judgement, meaning she won that part of the case without having to go to trial, as well as most of her copyright claim.
This week, Lord Justice Warby also granted summary judgement in relation to the remaining parts of the duchess’s copyright claim. ANL previously said it believed Mr Knauf was a co-author of the letter and the publisher argued that meant that the letter belonged to the Crown.
But lawyers acting on behalf of the Queen said any copyright in the letter does not belong to the Crown, the High Court heard.

Meghan Markle has described her new children’s book, The Bench, as full of “warmth, joy and comfort”.
It’s believed she received between £250,000 to £500,000 for her literary debut.
In the Telegraph, Camilla Tominey asks: “Yet is it likely to resonate with either Prince Charles or [Thomas] Markle, who is still estranged from his daughter?”
She quotes Laverne Antrobus, consultant child and education psychologist, as saying that becoming a parent, “really does bring losses into quite sharp focus.
“The moment you have your own child, you have that relationship that speaks to the unspoken bits and creates a narrative in your mind that you really have to work hard to understand.”

DETAILS OF DIANA'S WATCH
Meghan, who donned a £1,200 Carolina Herrera dress for her speech, was seen wearing the Cartier watch that belonged to Harry's late mother Princess Diana.
The £17,8000 gold Cartier Tank watch was a present to her from Harry and was loved by Diana, who was seen wearing the watch to visit London's Shri Swaminarayan Mandir Hindu Temple in 1997.
Diana had also worn the watch, which is now thought to be worth much more than its original price tag, at a British Lung Foundation event the same year.
It was given to her by her father, John Spencer, on her 21st birthday.

Meghan Markle celebrated Mother's Day privately with Prince Harry and Archie, according to reports.
Over in the US, the day is marked on May 9 and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are said to have celebrated at home.

Meghan Markle fans think the duchess wore Princess Diana's watch during her Vax Live speech.
Meghan appeared to give a nod to the princess by wearing her gold Cartier Tank Française watch while giving an address.
It is believed Prince William inherited the watch following Diana’s death in 1997, but the prince passed the watch on to his younger brother, Prince Harry, around 2009.

Meghan Markle has slammed the "surge in gender-based violence” and "new obstacles that "have reversed so much progress for women in the workplace”.
She claimed the world is at an "inflection point for gender equity", and told viewers that “women, and especially women of colour, have seen a generation of economic gain wiped out”, while speaking via video message for the Vax Live concert.
The duchess added: "But if we work together to bring vaccines to every country and continent, insist that vaccines are equitably distributed and fairly priced, and ensure that governments around the world are donating their additional vaccines to countries in need, then we can begin to fully rebuild.

Princes Harry and William will give separate speeches when their mum’s statue is unveiled — highlighting their ongoing rift.
Harry, 36, will stand with his brother, 39, when the Diana memorial is revealed in July at Kensington Palace, London.

A source said: “They will both move heaven and earth to be there. They commissioned the statue together. It is very important for them.

'FINAL STRAW'
New chapters set to be included in Meghan and Harry's biography Finding Freedom could blow any chance of the royal pair reconciling with family, an expert has claimed.
Duncan Larcombe, author of Prince Harry: The Inside Story, warned any new scandal could break all trust between the couple and the Queen.
He said the book's new content will be "extremely telling" about how deep the apparent rift between the Duke of Sussex and his family really is.

The Duchess of Sussex, 39, spoke about issues concerning the Covid pandemic at the Vax Live concert – but appeared unusually nervous and did not gesticulate as much as usual.
Meghan, who is expecting her second child, acted as a campaign chair of the event to support the global vaccination effort with Prince Harry.
Speaking via a video message, she said: "The past year has been defined by communities coming together tirelessly and heroically to tackle Covid-19. We’ve gathered tonight because the road ahead is getting brighter."
But Judi said Meghan looked "nervous" – and "regal" in the "style of the Queen".

MEGHAN AIDE 'TRIED TO PROTECT HER FATHER FROM MEDIA INTRUSION'
The Duchess of Sussex's former communications secretary "led extensive efforts" to defend her reputation and "protect her father from media intrusion", according to a letter sent to the Mail On Sunday's lawyers.
Jason Knauf "repeatedly" spoke to Meghan's estranged father Thomas Markle and directly contacted media organisations to "object to intrusions into Mr Markle's privacy" from 2016, his lawyers said in a letter last month.
Mr Knauf also advised that "a reference to Mr Markle's ill-health be included" in a letter sent by the duchess to her father in August 2018, which his solicitors described as "only a very minor suggestion".
But Mr Knauf "did not suggest any specific wording" and "did not draft, and has never claimed to have drafted, any parts of" the letter to Mr Markle, his lawyers Addleshaw Goddard said.
Mr Knauf, who now works as the chief executive of the Royal Foundation of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, has been dragged into his former employer's High Court battle with the publisher of the Mail On Sunday.

This comes after a spokesperson for the Sussexes recently confirmed the couple had “privately congratulated” the Cambridges on their 10 year marriage milestone.
Phil Dampier, author of Royally Suited: Harry and Meghan In Their Own Words, said: "The Queen and Prince Charles made their messages of congratulations to William and Kate on their tenth anniversary in public so why didn’t Harry and Meghan?
"Instead they relied on their spokespeople leaking out the fact they sent a message, making it look manipulated and contrived."

Judi added: "Hers was a floral-clad, maternal-looking charisma, low on passionate gesticulation and high on kind smiles and bump-cupping.

HARRY ‘MUST HAVE KNOWN PEOPLE’ TO HELP MEGHAN
Royal commentator Seward, also the editor-in-chief of Majesty Magazine, said she finds it “difficult to understand” Meghan’s claims about not receiving help for her mental health.
“What she was trying to tell us there? You don’t go to the HR department in the UK,” she said.

HARRY PROUD OF CHARITY WORK
Prince Harry has told of his pride that his Sentebale charity has managed to continue helping children in Africa during a year which "hasn’t been easy".
Harry, who co-founded Sentebale in 2006 to help vulnerable children in Lesotho, Botswana and Malawi, said the charity had "stepped up to meet the moment" amid the chaos of the pandemic.
Covid-19 meant that tried-and-tested programmes, which involve people coming together in groups, were ruled out at a time when support for children and young people was “needed more than ever”, Harry and Sentebale co-founder Prince Seeiso of Lesotho state.
