Kids’ traumatised after epic fail sees mum hire last minute replacement for Elsa for birthday party

A KIDS’ party were left screaming and traumatised after the parents had to hire a Bigfoot character guest when plans for Elsa from Frozen fell through.

Horrified children at the sixth birthday soiree were left in tears when the hairy mythical creature showed up at the door instead of the Disney princess.

The Oklahoma-based mum had been forced to switch the party theme after having issues with the cake.

The parents decided to invite Mrs Bigfoot to the party instead – but it didn’t not go down well at all.

In a bid to make the furry beast less intimidating, the mum and dad had asked Bigfoot to wear a blue tutu, a bow and bring balloons.

However, this was clearly not enough, and all hell broke loose when the character arrived at the home.

The dad had asked Bigfoot to make noise outside and then peer in the window, but this sent the kids wild with fear.

In the video, the children were left screaming thinking a monster was coming to eat them.

The dad told 2 News Oklahoma: "We just thought, I mean she came with balloons and a bow and a tutu, so I thought 'oh this will be cute and fun'.

“Well my kids did not have that reaction."

The dad gave a warning to other parents to think twice before booking Bigfoot for a children’s event, although he said they did eventually calm down enough to hug her.

He said: "They all ended up hugging her and taking fun pictures with her, really fun, cute pictures at the end.

"But they don't want her to come back though."

The mythical beast Bigfoot is thought to stand seven to 10 ft tall and weigh more than 35 stone, with footprints 17 inches long.

One of the first alleged discoveries of “Bigfoot” was back in 1811 when British explorer David Thompson found large footprints that have been attributed to the creature.

Some think Bigfoot, also known as sasquatch, is a descendant of an extinct giant ape – yet others claim the creature could even be an extra-terrestrial being.

Over the years there have been numerous sightings of beasts people claim to be Bigfoot.

However, despite the alleged sightings, no Bigfoot bones or remains have ever been found in the vast forests of North America.
