AN INTERIOR designer has revealed the four budget buys you have need if you want your home to look luxe without spending a fortune.

Nina Takesh took to TikTok to reveal the four staple buys to instantly elevate your home.


The interior designer said: "How to make your home look boujee without the boujee price tag."

The first tip Nina recommended was to swap your standard curtains for floor to ceiling sized ones to transform your space to look more expensive.

She added: "Get floor to ceiling curtains.

"Floor to ceiling curtains are critical in creating a space that looks well done, better designed and a lot more homely."

And it's all about the ambience, which can often be created through light.

Nina revealed the style of lighting you pick can make all the difference in how posh the room looks.

The interior designer recommended sculptural lighting options instead of your basic lampshade to elevate a room.

Another simple way to make a room look super expensive can be done for as little as £2.

"One of the tricks designers use, and they've been doing this for a long time, as I have, is to bring in fresh flowers," she revealed.

"It's a bit obvious, but what makes it more elevated and what makes it look expensive is to bring in flowers and create a sculptural piece of art."

Instead of having a bouquet in a vase, Nina recommended playing with height and texture to create an interesting centrepiece.

Lastly, the interior designer recommended adding different decorative objects to your space.

Using different materials, heights and textures will totally elevate the space says Nina.

The video has since gone viral with over 250k views and over 8,800 likes.
