A MAKE-UP guru has revealed what your favourite lipstick can reveal about your character – and it's not good news if you love a bright pink pout.

From the classic red tones to the more nude, we all have a lipstick we cannot imagine leaving the home without – but according to one beauty pro, it's more than just about your preferance.

The expert, from Zagreb, Croatia, works at a MAC Cosmetics store – and certainly knows a thing or two about lipsticks.

According to the pro, a more neutral nude lipstick, such as the cult favourite Velvet Teddy, is a top pick for those who want to play it safe.

''Maybe a little bit overrated – but it's still a good one.''

Meanwhile, if you love a light pink colour on your pout, the whizz reckoned you're in the mood of getting frisky in the bedroom.

Holding their Please Me lippy, the sales assistant joked: ''Is this one your favourite because it's good? Or you're just really horny?''

However, if your preferred choice is a light nude, such as MAC's Blankety, the guru noted that it's all you ever use – and you will let everyone know about it too.

''Alright, we get it – you like this one.''

Next up in the video, shared on TikTok by @mac.arena.zagreb, was a sexy maroon lipstick.

However, whilst MAC Cosmetics are known for their incredible range of lipsticks, there are some picks the whizz said are only popular amongst the elderlies.

These include their bright orange Morange and Barbie pink Saint Germain.

Meanwhile, those who love a more out there option, such as dark purple, have to be ''pretentious hipsters'', the beauty pro insisted.
