A LASH technician has revealed her horror after a client came into her beauty salon with lashes that looked like 'tar.'

Ipek Ozcan – who runs IPS Salon in London – explained how the woman had paid just £20 to have what she thought was individual extensions applied at a hair salon.


However, the beauty expert noted they were in fact eyelash clusters that'd been stuck on with a mixture of medical grade lash extension glue and hair bonding glue.

In the video shared on TikTok (@ipsbeauty), the lashes appear to be one massive clump with no isolation between each lash whatsoever.

"Unqualified 'lash techs' advertising clusters as 'individual extensions,'" she says.

"Looks like tar!

Expressing her dismay further, she captioned the post: "The worst cluster lashes I have ever seen.

"The clusters were then placed on the lashes with no isolation and stacked on top of each other."

It wasn't long before the post went viral, racking up over 117k views and several comments from shocked social media users.

"Exactly how mine looked which has me terrified to get my lashes done again lol," wrote one.

A second commented: "OMG!"

A third asked: "HOW DO YOU EVEN GET THAT OFF?"

Meanwhile, a fourth enthused: "Hair glue!"

And a further added: "I used to do the clusters of 3 myself and they NEVER looked like that!"
