A GYM session that caused maximum embarrassment, has left one fitness fan on the verge of tears.

But she had another gym-goer to thank, who alerted her to the awkward and unfortunate issue.

Otherwise, she would have been oblivious to the impending fashion disaster.

She is the latest casualty of unintended style misadventure.

Carol (@carie11111111) could only look on despair when she realized her fashion faux pas.

Nude and flesh pink leggings have often flashed up on social media as a look generally to be avoided.

Laura Lane writing on Eliza summed up the professional's view of this particular color spectrum when it came to gym outfits.

"Black will always be a winner for everyone," she wrote, "as it’s a naturally flattering colour for all skin tones and body shapes.

"But the color of your gym clothes should be the least of your worries, unless they are nude."

She continued: "Let’s be frank, those nude hues don’t work for everyone."

In her post, Carol held her hand to her mouth, still in a state of shock.

“I’m a victim of the nude leggings," she said.

She was wearing a taupe-shade baggy T-shirt, and a similar shade in tie-die style leggings.

“I was informed today that my leggings looked like my skin after a good couple of hours in the gym.”

The pain was real.

There was some comfort from one commenter, who said: “At least they’re tie-die and not plain nude.”

Carol could only agree, still cringing: “Bruh, if they were plain.”
