A WOMAN'S Target grocery run has resulted in the discovery of the store's high-waisted thong.

She was delighted with her purchase because she quickly learned that it hid her lower belly very well in one of her favorite skirts.

It was an area of her body that Michelle (@michellenegrete) was particularly self-conscious of.

So her glee at finding an item of underwear that disguised her drooping belly was an obvious one.

The woman's TikTok is devoted to midsize outfits and neutral wardrobe girly and styling videos.

But her Target find, with a price ticket of $6, was a chance one.

“I was on my normal Target grocery run and I stumbled onto the high waist seamless thong, that you need for all our high waist clothes," she wrote.

“So this is what they look like. They are high waist, they are seamless, and they are ribbed."

First, she wanted to demonstrate the difference they made by trying on a favorite skirt.

“Okay, this is a skirt that I’ve been wanting to wear for quite some time now. I’ve just been really self conscious about this area," she said of her belly.

“Anyway, this is what it looks like with regular underwear," she explained and she wasn't very happy.

"So my underwear hits right here and you can kind of see the line," she said.

Next, she tried the same skirt but with the Target seamless thong, and she was much more satisfied.

“I feel like it makes a tiny subtle difference in the delineation of where my tummy is," she beamed.

“You can also tell a little bit better that my tummy isn’t drooping over."

It wasn't perfect but it was good enough.

“Is it shaping like super compressing? No, but I feel like it’s worth giving it a try at least with like anything that you have high-waisted because I think it’ll be more comfortable."

“I hope you can see the difference," she said concluding her post.

Her fans could definitely see the difference and some were compelled to get to Target to purchase their own.
