A WOMAN has caused controversy by admitting she "hates being a single mum".

Lala took to TikTok to share a video in which she admitted she loves her daughter more than anything, but hates the fact that she's having to raise her alone.

"I’m about to say the most taboo thing but I have to say it because I know other single mums feel the same way," she said.

"Full disclaimer, I love my daughter, I’m a better woman today because of my daughter, she eats before I eat, she gets new clothes before I do, she goes to an amazing school, I bust my a*s for my daughter, there’s nothing in this world I wouldn’t do for her.

"But I hate being a single mum.

"I hate, hate being a single mum."

She began her list of reasons by revealing that she hates "that it took me out of my soft feminine state and it really shook me up and put me in my masculine state".

Secondly, she said: "I can’t help to feel guilty that my daughter is not being brought up in a two parent household.

"I go out to restaurants and parks and I see other babies and other kids and they’re so happy with their mum and dad.

"And I feel like my daughter was robbed of that.

"And I can’t help but question, ‘Would I be a better mum to my daughter, would my daughter be happier if she had a father in her home?’

"And that has nothing to do with wanting to be back with her dad.

"It’s just a simple matter of I wish I was raising my daughter with a partner, I wish I wasn’t doing it alone."

Lala went on to admit she hates feeling "depleted" most days.

"I’m crabby, I’m stressed out, I don’t have time to myself, I don’t  have a social life, and it’s because I’m a single mum," she sighed.

"Children aren’t meant to be raised by just mum. Children are meant to be raised in a  loving household and things happen, but it still doesn’t mean that my feelings aren’t valid.

"I have a right to feel this way. So yeah, I love my daughter but I hate being a single mum.

"And I desperately wish that I was raising her with a partner."

People in the comments section were quick to weigh in, with one writing: "The BIGGEST thing I hate about being a single mom is its always our fault no matter what and it isnt fair."

"We live in a world where people are so against women it’s sick," Lala replied.

"not to mention that if you do take time for yourself – you feel guilty as hell!" another wrote.

"Another reason why I do not want kids," someone else said.

"I do not want to ever go through that. I also mentally could not take it."

"We all do, but unfortunately we don’t have a crystal ball to predict the future," another wrote.
