Home Bargains is selling a £2.99 doormat that will help you hide deliveries from your other half

WE'VE all been there – you've got a little, shall we say, "carried away" with your online shopping and now have to justify your most recent homeware haul to your other half.

Or do you? Because Home Bargains is currently selling a door mat which might just save you and awkward conversation… or two.

That's right, the bargain superstore is selling a navy blue doormat which gives your delivery driver a not-so-subtle hint to discreetly deliver any parcels so your partner (hopefully) won't notice.

Complete with pretty white swirly handwriting, the mat reads: "Please hide packages from my husband."

And better still, it costs just £2.99 and is included in the store's Star Buys.

Raving about the doormat in the Facebook group Mrs Hinch Made Me Do It, one shopper joked: "Thought a few of you would appreciate this."

And right she was – because the group's 135,000 members went wild over the bargain buy.

One shopper commented: "I will be needing that when we move later this year."

Another joked: "Is there one 'hide from wife'… my hubby is a serial internet buyer!"

Meanwhile, a third gushed: "I need this! Bloody brilliant."

And if our addiction to marble homeware continues, we might just have to stock up on one of these ourselves.
