And in one particular case, one wedding guest's dress mirrored the bride's dress so much that it has the internet shocked.
A person who goes by @mdnnnsph on social media posted a photo of a bride posing alongside a wedding guest at her wedding.
The photo itself was innocent, except the wedding guest's outfit caused some controversy, with many people thinking that she was actually the bride.
Some even strongly felt she shouldn't be allowed at the wedding at all.
"Oh god. Found on FB. Even matching pearls!" the photo poster wrote, commenting on the guest's weirdly similar look to the bride.

The wedding guest was donned in what appeared to be a knee-length white lace dress, with a matching clutch and white pearls to finish off the look.
The major issue was that the wedding guest's dress was too similar in appearance to a wedding dress, the only real thing distinguishing her from the bride being the bride's bouquet and veil.
Many people in the comments section took issue with this, feeling that she was trying to upstage the bride.
"I can't believe they let her stay," wrote one spectator in awe.

Another user said: "Damn, this is one of the more egregious ones I've seen! If it weren't for the veil and bouquet, I would assume they are both brides."
"I was scrolling quickly, and thought it was two brides," a third person added.
