A NANNY to the stars who was thought to have been hired by Meghan Markle and Prince Harry has dismissed rumours she will be caring for Royal baby Archie.

American Connie Simpson, who has worked for George and Amal Clooney, Justin Timberlake and Jessica Alba revealed she won't be adding Prince Harry to her list of clients.

Speaking live on Good Morning Britain, Connie explained that while she had not been asked to look after baby Archie Harrison, she would not turn down the offer.

The celebrity nanny said: "I haven't been asked to be the nanny for the royals. I would love the job to take care of any baby, taking care of any baby is to take care of the parents."

Meanwhile, she offered new parents Harry, 34, and Meghan, 37, advice on caring for their two-month-old son, who is thought to be keeping them awake at night.

Connie, who has written a book titled The Nanny Connie Way, recommended the first-time parents use her gadget the Owlet – a special kind of nanny cam.

Recently gifted to Meghan and Harry, the Owlet smart sock tracks a baby's heart rate and oxygen levels, helping to lower parent's anxiety levels and improve how they care for their newborns.

"This Owlet is what is going to help Meghan and Harry with the sleepless nights," she added. "I would love to have the opportunity to help with the situation."

But live-in baby nurse Connie isn't just there to care for the baby – she believes it's of upmost importance to support and guide the parents in caring for their new child.

"I think the type of nanny that parents should have is one that will guide them and walk alongside them," Connie continued. "Hold their hands and accomplish them along the way.

"Some parents need to be nudged in the right direction. No nanny can be the parent and no parent can be the nanny."

The news comes just weeks after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were said to have taken on a third nanny to care for Archie after two quit within six weeks.

Sources close to the Sussexes said on Friday night that Royal couple were desperate to make the right decision, and therefore were ensuring they'd made the right choice before settling for one nanny.

Harper's Bazaar reported that a British-born female nanny had been hired for baby Archie, but that they were not permanently based at Frogmore Cottage.

Either way, it's expected that the nanny will sign an extensive non-disclosure agreement in order to be the royal childminder, according to biographer Katie Nicholl.

In other royal news, Meghan paid homage to her wedding by wearing the same £12k Cartier earrings from the big day to Archie's christening.

And Meghan proved she only has eyes for Harry with her "he's mine" gaze in public.

While royal fans spotted hidden details in Archie's christening photos which may reveal what time the intimate family service took place.
