Claudia Acott Williams, the curator behind Kensington Palace's photography exhibition Life Through a Royal Lens, revealed that it was a family member who first sparked Kate's interest in photography — the royal's grandfather, Peter Middleton.

Claudia told the Sunday Express: “Her grandfather was a very good photographer. When she was a child, he would show her his slides.

"It was him who taught her how to take photographs."

While Meghan is a woman of many talents, she previously revealed back in 2013 that she has a knack for calligraphy.

Before stepping into the spotlight, between 2004 and 2005, Meghan taught calligraphy, gift-wrapping and book-binding at the Paper Source store in Beverly Hills.

Paper Source CEO, Winnie Park, told People: “It was her part-time job as she was going through auditions.

“She taught calligraphy and hosted a group of customers and instructed them during a two-hour class on how to do calligraphy.”

In addition to her role at Paper Source, Meghan also worked as a freelance calligrapher and even wrote the invitations for Robin Thicke and Paula Patton’s wedding in 2005.

Meghan also discussed her love of handwritten notes on her former lifestyle blog, The Tig, adding: “I think handwritten notes are a lost art form.

“When I booked my first [TV] pilot, my dad wrote me a letter that I still have. The idea of someone taking the time to put pen to paper is really special.”

While Kate and Meghan’s hobbies are pretty normal, Paris Hilton’s pastime might leave you slightly surprised.

It tuns out that the heiress has a bizarre hobby – frog-hunting.

Talking to The Sun, Paris explained: "I love frog hunting. I go at my ranches. 

“I have one near Oakland, California, and another in Nevada, and I own an island. 

“So I catch frogs and put them in a bucket and then let them go."

Now that's sweet: Beyonce's honey hobby

While Beyonce is all too used to singing sell-out performances around the world, it turns out that in her downtime, she loves making honey.

During an interview with Vogue, the musician revealed the surprising fact about herself that fans don't know, as she claimed: "I know it's random, but I have two beehives. Real ones.

"I've had them at my house for a while now. I have around 80,000 bees and we make hundreds of jars of honey a year.”

She then revealed how she got into her unique hobby, as she continued: "I started the beehives because my daughters, Blue and Rumi, both have terrible allergies, and honey has countless healing properties.”

We all know that Katy Perry has rocked a number of beautiful hairstyles throughout the years, but it turns out that that the singer has made a hobby of collecting other celebrities' hair – yes, you heard that correctly.

In fact, she talked about it openly during a fan Q&A, and even admitted that she used to keep Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift's locks in her bag, as she explained: “One of the first times I went to the Grammy's, I got to share a dressing room with Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift.

“I asked them for a lock of their hair from each one of them, which is totally creepy, but awesome.

“I put little bows on them individually and put them in my purse. And that was my little secret and I’m a freak!”

When Taylor Swift isn’t writing songs or recording for her next album, you might just find her making snow globes.

The singer previously opened up about her DIY hobby that she picked up from Pinterest, as she revealed that she uses mason jars, antiques and glitter to create the gifts, which she often gives to her friends.

Not only is it something she enjoys doing, but she also claimed that putting them together makes her feel like a kid again.

Angelina previously told W Magazine about how her mother got her into the hobby and that she was passing it onto her son Maddox.

She shared: "My mum took me to buy my first daggers when I was 11 or 12 and I've already bought Maddox some things.
