Nicole Kidman’s pantsuit was actually a shimmery tweed print up close. The dark red shade was complemented by black and silver piping and a smattering of buttons with the Chanel logo — jazzing up the menswear silhouette with a feminine edge.

Jason Aldean’s other half Brittany Aldean looked ravishing in red at the Academy of Country Music Awards, arriving in this stunning spaghetti strap number. A fitted silhouette and a side slit bordered by feathers made this one stand out in a sea of more casual attire. Let’s take a closer look…

We almost missed the embellished hat while checking out Lainey Wilson’s ACM Awards ensemble. Upon closer inspection, the halter-style crop top portion did indeed have a cape-like feel — with jeweled embellishments located along the shoulders.

Miranda Lambert was a beauty in cobalt blue, arriving in this dreamy gown with a plunging neckline and thigh-high slit. Embellishments studded the bodice and she kept te blue themed going with her pointy-toe pumps.

Hey, Ed Sheeran, did you know you were attending an award show? The singer turned up in this much too casual getup — a white tee, black jeans, sneakers and a green collared jacket.

Carly Pearce picked peach for ACM Awards night, arriving in this strapless design with a thigh-high slit with ruching at the hips. Metallic sandals rounded out this look, and while we loved the shade, we’re not sure she should have kept the bold bright theme going when it came to her makeup…

Jo Dee Messina went a little too casual to the big country music shindig, rocking white jeans, a black tee and black leather jacket in a seriously underwhelming combination.

Now those are some sleeves! Though this look was a little wild, we appreciate that Gabby Barrett opted for something seriously dressy with this black confection. The gown itself included spaghetti straps and oversized detached sleeves that made a statement, bringing some much needed drama to the black carpet.

Caylee Hammack brought a dash of hot pink to the black carpet — selecting this dreamy tiered design with dramatic puffy pleated sleeves, a plunging neckline and a tiered and ruffled skirt.

We love a matching couple! Tyler Hubbard and Hayley Hubbard both sported a pretty blush hue on the ACM Awards carpet — Tyler in a suit with a white tee and cream loafers, and Hayley in a sweet off-the-shoulder fitted gown and embellished pointy-toe heels.

Ashley McBryde kept things simple and classic in this sleeveless black frock, which also showed off some skin (and tattoos!) with that thigh-high slit. Strappy black sandals and an updo rounded out this look.

TikTok phenom Livvy Dunne showed off how fabulous silver can be in this halter-style slinky gown, complete with cut-outs and a thigh-high center slit.

Trisha Yearwood took a walk on the wild side with some red leopard print on ACM Awards night. The icon donned a long-sleeved midi-length dress and accessorized with chunky black sandals that complemented the animal print motif.

A shimmery velvet jumpsuit complete with long sleeves and shoulder pads was the first ensemble we saw on Dolly Parton on ACM Awards night! The host of the evening gave a wave in this fitted one-piece look with fringe and embellishments and a skinny pant that paired well with peep-toe pumps.

It took us a while to untangle exactly what Brandy Clark was wearing on ACM Awards night, but ultimately it was a cropped black blazer with gold embellishments over top an oversized white blouse and cropped vest. It’s unclear where the braided ropes around her neck were coming from, but she finished off this haphazard look with black pants.

Chase Rice looked every bit the cowboy, arriving in, what else?!, a white cowboy hat, white tee, black suede jacket, black jeans and brown cowboy boots.

Mickey Guyton opted for a pantsuit, sporting this pinstripe silvery sequined number with velvet lapels. And while we loved the coordinates, we didn’t like what she paired it with — this silver bralette that made it feel more costume-like than couture.

Kimberly Perry sure had a glamorous baby bump debut! The country singer, who used to be in the group The Band Perry before going solo, is expecting her first child, a boy, in August, and glammed up her bump in a black minidress with a fun cape-detail. Chunky black heels completed her chic maternity ensemble.

Pantsuits were trending on the black carpet, but we weren’t big fans of Tenille Townes’ selection. The shimmery bold blue fabric was already a lot, so the pairing with a tiny crop top felt like an odd choice.

MacKenzie Porter always brings high fashion to the country carpets, and this ACM Awards look was no exception. The star arrived in this eye-catching electric blue pick — a jumpsuit with intricate cutouts topped with an impossibly glamorous cape — all in a sequined bright blue fabric.
