In its upright form the mop has an easy-to-use swivel head with an extendable handle, and is great on carpets and hard floors.

The steam cleaner can also be used in a variety of other modes, and is great for scrubbing, cleaning ceramics and tiles, steaming and freshening garments, clearing limescale and general grime, and cleaning glass, and windows.

The mop is available to buy from a variety of stores online, with prices starting at £40.

Arwen later confirmed that she found the mop in a Farmfoods store in Blackpool and for £4.99, it’s no wonder that she was left beaming with her £35.01 saving.

At the time of writing, Arwen had shared her post just 14 hours prior, but it had clearly impressed many, as it had quickly amassed 271 likes and 359 comments.

One person said: “Need to look!”

Another added: “Running.”

A third commented: “What a bargain.”

Meanwhile, many Facebook users tagged their friends and loved ones, alerting them to the cut-price buy.

One shopper tagged a loved one and asked: “Get me one please.”

Another simply mentioned a family member and stated: “Go tomorrow.”

Whilst someone else tagged a loved one and questioned: “Can we nip in tomorrow????”

However, others were eager to note that such mops shouldn’t be used on laminate flooring.

One user penned: “I had one of these and [it] ruined my flooring so just be careful if you have laminate flooring.”

A second chimed in: “These are no good for laminate; the laminate will lift, the steam is too much for laminate.”

Whilst another chimed in: “Remember steam mops are not good for laminate floors.”

According to Factory Direct Flooring, laminate flooring is sensitive to heat and moisture, so the humidity from your steam mop can cause harm.
