LIPOSUCTION has been growing in popularity since the 90s and more celebrities are coming forward to admit they've had it.

Here we take a look at the before and after photos of some of your favourite stars who have gone under the knife.

Katie Price

Katie has always been open and honest about the work she has had done since she started out as a fresh-faced Page 3 model.

Dabbling with liposuction for the first time as a teen back in the 90s, the star had the fat-loss surgery while on a trip to Turkey in 2021.

She also underwent the procedure in Istanbul in 2019 while also receiving bum implants, a tummy tuck and a facelift.

Reflecting on her surgery at the time, Katie told The Sun: "Honestly, I've gone to hell and back, it was horrific.

"I just thought, 'This is it, I'm going to die'. I was terrified of looking like a freak."

Katie did stress that she wanted her fans to know that she did not go under the knife because she was unhappy, but because she "wanted the old me back".

Sharon Osbourne

Sharon is no stranger to plastic surgery and has always been a vocal advocate.

She revealed to Britain's Night and Day magazine: "I had liposuction on my neck and had it lifted, too. I had my breasts lifted, my arms lipo-ed and my tummy tucked.

"I had my bum lifted and implants inserted. And I had my legs lifted."

"The total cost was 120,000GBP and it was worth every last penny. I love cosmetic surgery," she added.

In 2020, she spoke up about plastic surgery, insisting that there was nothing wrong with tweaking your appearance if one could afford it.

She told Watch Magazine: “People ask me about plastic surgery, and you know what? If you’re not happy with the way you look and you have the money, change it! What is the big deal?”

Kerry Katona

Kerry has a history of yo-yo dieting and has gone from a size 16 to a size six.

It is believed that she has had around three liposuction procedures, plus Botox and fillers in her cheeks and lips.

In 2016, Kerry suggested she went under the knife again in her battle against the bulge, stretchmarks and loose skin.

The singer announced she had “a s*** load of lipo” and “a mini tummy tuck” to fans on Twitter.

Shaughna Phillips

In 2022, Shaughna revealed that she had liposuction to remove fat from her calves after being diagnosed with lipoedema.

The former Love Island star, who is an advocate for cosmetic surgery, admitted she felt like a weight was lifted off her shoulders when she was finally diagnosed with the condition.

Shaughna told Metro.co.uk's podcast Smut Drop: "When I found out that I had a condition, I felt an instant weight lifted off my shoulders because it almost takes the – not the guilt but the blame – because I thought, well, that's just, that's what I've got."

The 29-year-old went on to criticise people who comment on others' appearances, adding: "I get we have free speech. But you have no right to comment on how I look, let's just get that very clear."

Chloe Ferry

Chloe first went under the knife when she was 20 years old when she had an eyebrow lift.

Since then she has had multiple procedures to alter her appearance.

In 2018 she went to Marbella with her ex-boyfriend Sam Gowland to have liposuction and a bum lift.

She had fatty tissue removed from her stomach and then injected into her bum to give it a perkier appearance.

A source at the time said how the star struggled to "sit down" due to how much pain the Geordie Shore star was in.

But despite this, close friends told The Sun that Chloe was happy with the results.

The price of the procedure takes into account many factors, including the amount of work you need, the type of liposuction you're having and the surgical provider you choose.
