With another week upon us, we have yet another installment of our product drops series. Leading the list is Palace‘s latest team-up with frequent collaborator adidas Originals for their Summer 2020 SunPal capsule.

This week we also see a philanthropic merch release from Kerwin Frost and Cactus Plant Flea Market for The First Annual Kerwin Frost Telethon Supershow. It is important to note that 100 percent of all proceeds from the special range will benefit Colin Kaepernick‘s Know Your Rights Camp.

Billionaire Boys Club has tapped SECRET BASE for a limited edition Astro Boy figure designed by Tokyo-based producer HIDDY.

Maintaining Astro’s signature torso design, the vinyl figure’s arms, legs and head are crafted in clear vinyl to reveal the android’s inner workings. The clear parts show off a highly detailed mechanical structure and add another display element to the collectible. SECRET BASE and HIDDY have also prepared three necklace accessories that serve as mini replicas of NIGO and Pharrell‘s iconic chains.

Continuing to deliver collaborations, COMME des GARÇONS SHIRT has now delivered its FW20 capsule with Futura.

Comprised of 12 pieces, the range offers two coach jackets, two long-sleeve shirts, four T-shirts, and four bags covered in the artist’s signature bright graffiti. Additional decoration include Futura’s signature Pointman character applied on top of the patterns. The three prints featured have been reimaged by Rei Kawakubo through prints, paneling, and cutouts for a collage-like feel.

Building on its heritage of referencing design elements from Korea’s rich history, IISE has teamed up with New Era on a capsule inspired by “Gat” hats.

Inspired by the headwear worn by the Yangban ruling class of Korea’s Joseon dynasty, the four-piece collaborative range features bucket hats and 6-panel caps in white and more fitting black. Referencing the semi-sheer look and construction of Gat hats, IISE utilized crisp and breathable organza and bendable wireframes at the brims. Rounding up the design of the contemporary take on the traditional ware are IISE and New Era’s logo expressed through tonal embroidery.

Salute has now teamed up with Shane Gonzales of MIDNIGHT STUDIOS on a limited edition necklace release.

The new take on the SS20 FLOWER ANARCHY SMILE Necklace style features bold enamel charms and pearls designed in partnership with Gonzales. Charms include flowers with anarchy “A” centers, smile marked daises broken up by an array of silver beads and hexagonal rods. Aside from the pearls on each side, the necklace also features a standout musical note charm set directly at the center of the piece. With 100 percent of proceeds benefitting Colin Kaepernick‘s Know Your Rights Camp, special range features a baby blue sweatshirt and a soft pink T-shirt detailing the information of the telethon in a special puffy print text, along with an unmissable graphic of Frost’s face in front. The collab also offers a jumbo pencil with the engraving “WRITE 2 HIGHER LEARNING,” referring to one of the Know Your Rights Camp’s ultimate missions.

In its efforts to revolutionize the established meaning of garments, the label has launched its “Denim Project.” Building on its launch of womenswear, the future-forward imprint has also launched its first women’s leather bag. Dubbed the “Nebula,” the carrying option is constructed of ECCO leather panels and features a striking hardware system that serves as function and design. Following the launch of its Summer 2020 collection, Palace and frequent collaborator adidas Originals have prepared their SunPal capsule for the season.

The special range features two football-inspired jerseys, a matching co-branded top and shorts and a Tri-Ferg marked SunPal poncho. Aside from a selection of caps, stand-out accessories include colorful goggles and a bright yellow beach towel. Finishing up the team-up are water shoes, in either blue or orange designed to match the aforementioned SunPal apparel.
