The Bear star Jeremy Allen White's wife Addison Timlin files for divorce

The Bear star Jeremy Allen White’s wife Addison Timlin has filed for a divorce.

Timlin, 31, is said to have filed the request for legal separation on Thursday in Los Angeles, according to court documents.

US actor White, 32, stars in the award-winning Disney Plus drama with season two due to arrive on June 22.

He and Timlin have been married since 2019 and share two daughters, Ezer and Dolores.

In The Bear, White plays a young chef from the world of fine dining, who comes home to Chicago to run his family’s sandwich shop after the suicide of his older brother.

He won several accolades for the role during the 2023 awards season including at the Critics Choice Television Awards, Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards, and Golden Globes.

Picking up the Golden Globe for best actor in a television series – musical or comedy, White thanked his family and singled out Timlin.

‘Addison Timlin, I love you deep in my bones. Thank you for all that you do. Thank you for everything you’ve done,’ he said.

After the awards show Timlin shared an emotional post on Instagram about her husband alongside a photo of him holding his award

‘When we were 14 years old and I saw you perform for the first time in drama class, I couldn’t take my eyes off of you,’ she wrote.

‘When we’d run your lines for Shameless I’d be so tickled knowing beforehand what everyone would get to witness the next day on set.’

She revealed that when she watched the pilot episode of The Bear, she ‘cried [her] f*****g heart out.’, adding: ‘I think somewhere I must’ve known how much life was about to change, but mostly I just knew that the world was about to discover what I’ve known all along. What a privilege it’s been to know first.’

‘I love this picture so much because you look 14 and 31 at the same time. Watching you win on Tuesday was one of the most overwhelming dimension-hopping moments of my whole life, watching you win last night while holding our two babies was pretty out of this world too. Daddy winned another trophy winners cup. We’re so proud,’ she wrote.

The couplehave also worked together in the past, co-starring in 2008 psychological drama Afterschool, where they appeared in two of the film’s lead roles alongside The Flash star Ezra Miller.
