Sharon Osbourne speaks out after hospitalisation

12/20/2022

Sharon Osbourne has spoken out for the first time since her hospitalisation last week, to reassure fans that she’s on the mend.

The former X Factor judge was taken to hospital last Friday after falling ill on the set of a TV show she was filming in California.

Her son Jack later confirmed she had been released from hospital and a rep has since revealed Sharon, 70, had fainted.

On Monday, the presenter kicked off her week by returning to social media with a wholesome photo of her dog posing in front of a huge Christmas tree.

‘Back home and doing great! Thank you for all the [love],’ she captioned the post.

Hours before, a rep for the star told Metro.co.uk that she fainted and needed medical attention as a result.

Following her stay at Santa Paula Hospital, Sharon’s son Jack, 37, took to Instagram to let fans know she was home again after being given the green light by her medical team.

He wrote in his statement: ‘Ok here is what I’ll say. First things first MY MOTHER WASN’T A EPISODE OF @ghostadventures. She was filming a new episode Night of Terror with me.

‘Now that we have made that clear… She has been given the all clear from her medical team and is now home.

‘As to what happened to my mum – I’m gonna leave it to [Sharon] to share about when she is ready.’

News of Sharon’s hospitalisation came after TMZ reported Sharon, wife of Black Sabbath rocker Ozzy Osbourne, had suddenly fallen unwell on the set of a production shooting at the Glen Tavern Inn in Santa Paula.

Ventura County Fire Department were said to have confirmed that EMS workers responded to a ‘medical call’ on Friday evening and transported a patient to hospital, who was later confirmed to be Sharon by Santa Paula Police Chief.
