Rylan Clark claims tide is turning on certain TV stars who are two-faced

Rylan Clark has thrown some shade on TV stars who show two-faced behaviour.

After appearing on The X Factor in 2012, Rylan has gone on to present various television shows, including Big Brother’s Bit on the Side, Up Late with Rylan and Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two.

Since 2013 he’s also filled in on This Morning, working alongside Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes, as well as Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield.

He’s also currently helping host the Eurovision Song Contest taking place in Liverpool.

However now he’s said that some famous faces he has worked with in the past might not have the personas they portray in front of the cameras.

‘People can see through it all now. People can see who are the real ones and can very much see who isn’t,’ he said in an interview with Waitrose & Partners’ Weekend, as reeported by The Sun.

‘I’ve been in this industry for nearly 11 years, and all I’ve ever been is nice and polite to people.’

He added: ‘And that’s starting to pay off for me now, because there are people in this industry who aren’t like that. They think they’re something special. And the walls are starting to fall.’

His cryptic remarks don’t indicate who he might be talking about, however Rylan has been sharing his thoughts and feelings on personal matters in recent weeks.

Last week he shared details of his mental health breakdown following his split from ex-husband Dan Neal in 2021.

After revealing he had been unfaithful at the beginning of their relationship, Rylan shared that needed hospital treatment when the pair split as he was ‘a threat to myself’.

The star spoke candidly to Elizabeth Day on her How to Fail podcast and assured the host he was rebuilding his life after hitting ‘rock bottom’.

Admitting the divorce ‘pretty much nearly did kill me’, Rylan also said it was ‘extremely traumatic’.

However, he said it made him ‘so much stronger’ and the trials made him the person he was now.
