Laura Anderson 'so upset' that ex Gary Lucy announced baby's gender

Laura Anderson is said to be ‘so upset’ that her ex-partner Gary Lucy revealed their baby’s gender ‘without her consent’.

The former couple announced they were expecting their first child together earlier this year, before announcing their separation shortly after.

The pair’s relationship has been rocky following the split, with former Love Island star Laura, 33, admitting she and the Hollyoaks actor, 41, were ‘definitely not’ on good terms.

And things seem to have gone from bad to worse after Gary announced the pair were expecting a little girl.

‘Gary announced the gender news without getting Laura’s consent,’ a source close to the star told OK!. ‘She’s really upset by this.’

Gary shared the news in an Instagram post with a photo of a pink crown with ‘daddy’s girl’ written underneath.

It also featured a baby scan and the message: ‘For everyone that’s been asking… let’s hope she inherits her Mummys looks,’ hinting that he’s on good terms with Laura.

Gary also told his followers: ‘Thanks for all the lovely messages from everyone… so excited to meet my little baby bear soon!’

Lucy recently hit out at the ‘bump police’ after she became a target of trolls for touching her belly.

The mum-to-be has been soaking up the sun in the Maldives, sharing a series of stunning snaps on Instagram in which the glowing star cradled her bump.

However, she was expecting some trolling, as she began in her caption: ‘Cue the bump police 🙈’

‘To the people that have some weirdly negative connotation with woman cradling their baby bump- I unfortunately will be growing a human inside of me for the next 5months and will more than likely not know where else to put my hands in a photo 😂’ she continued. has contacted reps for Laura and Gary for comment.
