How to Stream the 2020 Golden Globes (& Red Carpet)
01/04/2020The 77th annual Golden Globes are this Sunday, January 5, and it’s time to plan your viewing party. Only one question remains: How do you stream the 2020 Golden Globes (and of course, the red carpet)? This year, there are more options than ever to catch the star-studded show.
For those of you with cable, the answer is simple: tune in to NBC at 8 p.m. ET to catch the full show. (The Golden Globes will also be streaming on NBC’s website and app, but you’ll still need a cable or NBC login to access it.)
If you’re a cord-cutter fear not: Hulu+, AT&T TV Now, Fubo TV, Sling TV, and YouTube TV are all streaming the Golden Globes too. Pick your poison!
Only in it for the red carpet? We get it. This year, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) and Dick Clark Productions are partnering with Facebook for an official red carpet pre-show, streaming exclusively on Facebook Watch from 6-8 p.m. ET — watch it here. Hosts include Sofia Carson, AJ Gibson, Jeannie Mai, and Scott Mantz.
If you like to flip around and see as many red carpet interviews as possible, here are the other broadcasts to check out. NBC’s pre-show starts at 6 p.m. ET (again, available on their website, app, and plain old cable). And E!‘s “Countdown to the Red Carpet” airs at 4 p.m. ET, followed by their red carpet coverage at 6 p.m. ET, hosted by Ryan Seacrest and Giuliana Rancic.
Finally, this year’s Golden Globes have an aftershow too! The Hollywood Reporter is partnering with HFPA to live stream an aftershow from the Beverly Hilton, hosted by Kristin Dos Santos and Chris Gardner. You can catch all their interviews with winners and highlights from the show streaming on Twitter, immediately after the official show ends.
