Cher Lloyd has given a glimpse at her growing bump after announcing she is expecting a baby.

The former X Factor star shot to fame at 16 when she appeared on the ITV competition.

And while pretty much everyone had Swagger Jagger stuck in their head at some point in the months after, it had been a while since Cher’s name was in the spotlight.

However the musician was showered with love earlier this week as she announced she was pregnant with her second child, sharing the news with a sweet post on Instagram.

Now Cher, 29, has thanked fans for their kind words and shared a sweet family photo, showing off her bump for the first time.

In the snap, Cher poses in a black bodycon dress, her hand protectively over her bump, as her older daughter cuddles her and gives her unborn sibling a kiss.

She wrote: ‘Thank you for all the lovely messages, we’re over the moon ?.’

The Want U Back hitmaker, who is already a mum to Delilah-Rae Monk, announced her pregnancy earlier this week with a sweet video of a pair of hands opening to reveal a baby scan along with a newborn outfit.

‘Baby number 2, we can’t wait to meet you,’ she captioned the post.

Cher is welcoming the new arrival with husband Craig Monk, who she married in 2013.

She credits Craig for helping her get through difficult times after The X Factor, as while she found fame she also admitted she suffered a lot of hate and abuse.

Cher also admitted that if she had a 16-year-old daughter she wouldn’t let her do the show.

‘I didn’t trust anyone. I thought everyone was out to get me or wanted to take the p**s out of me and ruin whatever dream I had,’ she told The Sun in 2020.

‘[Craig] came along and suddenly I had someone telling me it was going to be OK and I had to stop feeling angry and rise above it.

Having someone there to help and guide me and also be the person to bring me happiness.’
