Everyone has a different attitude when it comes to cheating. For some, it’s a dealbreaker, no further questions asked. For others, circumstance is everything. At the end of the day, the only people who know what’s going on in a relationship are the people in it — but that hasn’t made us any less curious about A-list cheating scandals over the years. Many of our favorite couples have gone through rumors of infidelity (or confirmed infidelity) and come out the other side unscathed, often saying it’s made their partnership stronger. From Beyoncé and Jay-Z to Pink and Carey Hart, many celebrity couples have survived cheating scandals, and their comments to the public have given insight into how they found their way back.

Talking to David Letterman in 2018, Jay-Z opened up about the work he and Beyoncé put into fixing their marriage after his infidelity. “I have a beautiful wife who was understanding and who knew I’m not the worst of what I’ve done,” he said. “We did the hard work of going to therapy. We love each other, so we really put in the work for years.”

Dean McDermott, who was unfaithful to wife Tori Spelling, told Us Weekly in 2019 that he knew there was a chance she’d walk out right away. “I thought that Tori was just going to run for the hills, and I could totally understand why,” he said. “But she was like, ‘I just can’t turn off the love for you.’”
