Brad Pitt's Holiday Plans Are All About His Kids

Coming off of a hectic period of filming and promoting, Brad Pitt reportedly only wants one thing for the holidays — quality time with his kids. And it would seem that’s exactly what the Ad Astra star is getting (guess he landed on the nice list!). According to a source, the busy actor-producer is really looking forward to “just being together and being a family” with his brood to cap off 2019.

He apparently intends to relish his designated time this season with the children he and ex-wife Angelina Jolie share. “Brad will spend part of the holidays with the kids in L.A. He will see them for his birthday [the actor turns 56 on December 18] and for Christmas Eve. It’s the same arrangement they have had recently,” a source told E! News. As for what Pitt has on the holiday visit agenda, it sounds pretty sweet.

“The kids will come over to Brad’s house and spend the day with him. They have some traditions where they eat and exchange gifts. They play music and just hang out. Brad always wants to make it special for them and loves to see the excitement in their eyes. He tries to get them thoughtful gifts and something for them to experience,” said the source, emphasizing, “The most important thing is just being together and being a family. He’s excited to see them and have them be with him at home. That’s really the only thing he wants.”

Fortunately, the A-lister and Jolie have, by most accounts, reached an amicable custody agreement that allows Pitt ample time with the couple’s children. Granted, that doesn’t guarantee they will all make it to Pitt’s house for the holiday hang-outs. While Maddox, 18, Pax, 16, Zahara, 14, Shiloh, 13, Knox, 11, and Vivienne, 11, have reportedly all been invited, E!‘s source guessed that “probably only the three youngest will go.”

In the past year, much has been made of a supposed rift between Pitt and his oldest child, Maddox. Just this week, Us Weekly reported that “there’s been no contact” between the two recently — but “Brad’s hopeful that as soon as his son gets older, they’ll become close again.” And hey, it is the most magical time of the year, right? Maybe Maddox will make it to Pitt’s house and a reconciliation will be the family’s holiday miracle.
