This week, Ava Phillippe wrote an Instagram tribute to mom Reese Witherspoon, and it will give you all the feels.
Phillippe did a “just because” tribute to her mom, which included a candid photo of the Big Little Lies star putting on earrings and a lengthy caption. She captioned the photo, “This is the gorgeous woman who taught me about the power of graciousness, love, ambition, and hard work. She inspires me everyday to live with gratitude for the life I’ve been given and compassion for others. I’m thinking about her a little extra today, that’s all.”
Mama Witherspoon couldn’t resist leaving her daughter a comment, responding with “How did I get so lucky to have a daughter like you?” Is there dust in the air or is it me?
Witherspoon has laid low the past few weeks, spending a quiet Fourth of July with husband Jim Toth and son Tennesee, whom she shares with ex-husband Ryan Phillippe. The actress has been on a tear, working alongside heavy-hitters like Nicole Kidman and Meryl Streep in the new season of HBO’s Big Little Lies. Plus she attending co-star Zoë Kravitz’s recent wedding. Phillippe and her mother’s relationship has always been close. (In fact, the teen was actually her mom’s plus one at the season 2 premiere of Big Little Lies.)
