Zoe Lister-Jones Accused Chris Noth of "Sexually Inappropriate" Behavior

12/17/2021

In a series of notes posted to Instagram, actor Zoe Lister-Jones shared her experience with Chris Noth and what she called "sexually inappropriate" behavior that she witnessed.

Yesterday, two women accused Noth of sexual assault, sharing their stories with The Hollywood Reporter. Noth denied their claims, calling them "categorically false." Lister-Jones's carousel post included incidents that she saw while she worked at a club that Noth owned in New York City, which included seeing him be "consistently sexually inappropriate with a fellow female promoter."

"Last week my friend asked me how I felt about Mr. Big's death on And Just Like That …, and I said, honestly, I felt relieved," she wrote.

"He asked why and I told him it was because I couldn't separate the actor from the man, and the man is a sexual predator," she added. "My friend was alarmed at my word choice. And to be honest so was I. I hadn't thought of this man for so many years, and yet there was a virility to my language that came from somewhere deep and buried."

When the two worked together on Law & Order, Jones claims that she saw Noth being "drunk on set" and that he was inappropriate.

"During my interrogation scene he had a 22 oz. of beer under the table that he would drink in between takes," she noted. "In one take he got close to me, sniffed my neck, and whispered, 'You smell good.' I didn't say anything. My friend at the club never said anything. It's so rare that we do."

Noth did not provide a statement to People, which reported the story, though a source close to him denied that he would be inebriated on set.

"To allege Chris was drunk on the set of Law & Order is also entirely false," the source said.
