The ‘Murder on My Mind’ rapper’s team has also responded via his Instagram Story after prosecutors claim that he authorized various crimes, including the killing of his mother.

AceShowbizYNW Melly‘s camp has seemingly addressed recent reports which revealed a new allegation that he ordered a hit on his own mother. Taking to social media, the rapper’s mother Jamie Demons-King has appeared to laugh off the claim.

After the claim surfaced over the weekend, Jamie wrote on her Instagram Story, “This is pure desperation.” She added a laughing with tears emoji and a cap, insinuating that the allegation is not true.

Over on Melly’s own Instagram account, someone from his team has posted a message maintaining the rapper’s innocence. “Lies. False Agenda. Innocent!!” the message read.

Melly, whose real name Jamell Maurice Demons, has been in jail since February 2019 when he was arrested for the deaths of fellow crew members YNW Sakchaser and YNW Juvy. On Sunday, June 26, No Jumper shared a copy of alleged paperwork that revealed prosecutors are trying to pin other crimes on the 23-year-old.

According to the transcripts, when attorney Stuart Adelstein asked the witness if Melly had “authorized any communication for the commission of a crime,” the witness answered, “Yes. If you read his phone, there’s narcotics trafficking and firearms violations authorizing the killing of his mother. Those are the things that you would consider ‘authorizing.’ “

Back in February, 66-page documents submitted by prosecutors detailed new evidence that proves Melly was the one who pulled the trigger and killed his two friends while riding with them in a vehicle. The document reportedly included DNA evidence that proves the gunshots were fired from the “Mixed Personalities” rhymer’s seat in the car, using cell phone tower records proving the rapper was in the area where the shooting took place.

Additionally, ballistics reports showed that all of the shots that were fired came from Melly’s position in the car and surveillance footage allegedly shows the Gifford native getting into the vehicle at the seat where the shots were allegedly fired from.

The State of Florida is reportedly seeking death penalty for the murders. They believe Melly is a “heartless and ruthless” individual who killed his two friends in cold blood.
