Will Smith Got Heated With 50 Cent Over Jada Pinkett Smith's Relationship With August Alsina

For some reason, 50 Cent slid into Will Smith's DMs after that episode of Red Table Talk with Jada Pinkett Smith. The rapper then decided to share their heated back-and-forth on Instagram on July 11.

“Yo Will you alright over there?” Curtis Jackson III (a.k.a 50 Cent) wrote to Smith.

Although, Smith initially thanked Jackson for the concern, things got a bit more hostile when the rapper continued to press Smith about the “entanglement” between Smith's wife Jada Pinkett Smith and musician August Alsina. (The Girls' Trip actor and musician had a relationship about four-and-a-half years ago, during a brief split between the married couple.)

“But why she tell you that s–t on a showfor [sic] everybody to see?” 50 Cent asked.

After Smith replied that the pair had broken up at the time “so she did her and I did me,” Jackson responded again. “She said only SHE can give permission for somebody to blow her back out,” he said.

“F*ck you 50,” Will Smith replied.

On July 10th, the Smiths sat down for a one-on-one episode Red Table Talk on Facebook Watch to discuss Alsina's recent claims that he and Pinkett Smith engaged in an affair. In an episode titled, “Jada Brings Herself to the Table,” the host admits to having an “entanglement” with Alsina, but reveals that she and her husband were separated at the time.

“We broke up. At that point in time, it was indefinite. From there, as time went on, I got into a different kind of entanglement with August," Pinket Smith clarified, before pointing out that her husband did not grant permission. “One thing I want to get clear about and clean out one of the things that's kind of swirling about you giving permission, which the only person that can give permission in that particular circumstance is myself."

The couple, who have been married for over 20 years also shared how they've moved on since getting back together. “For me, this was years ago,” the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air actor said. "I think it could feel weird that we're laughing and talking about it. Our experiences of working through it and talking through it and fighting through it and therapizing through it, I think that the why now is weird."

Jada agreed, saying that she is grateful for the journey she and Will have been on together. "The one thing I'll say about you and I is that there have never been secrets,” she said. “We have really gotten to that new place of unconditional love.”
