Generation Zers might not remember this, but there was a time when Paris Hilton was everywhere in pop culture. The queen of “That’s Hot” was once a party-loving socialite, but eventually shifted gears to focus on her booming businesses. Though she has a famous last name, the heiress made her own fortune throughout the years by diving headfirst into the cosmetic and fashion industries. “I am about to release my 24th fragrance and I have 19 product lines, with every type of product from handbags, clothing, shoes to sunglasses, watches, jewelry, lingerie, makeup, skincare, homeware, pet clothes, accessories, and hair products,” she told Purse Blog in 2018.

However, it’s not all business for the former reality television star. Hilton also has a compelling romantic life, which included a sighting of her kissing entrepreneur Carter Milliken Reum in January 2019 at the Warner Bros. & InStyle party, according to People. However, the multi-millionaire didn’t make if official — at least, Instagram official — until April 2020.  

“Happy Anniversary my love. My favorite thing to do is make memories with you,” read the caption. “Your kisses are magical. I love being yours and knowing you’re mine.”

Carter Reum is a successful entrepreneur

Some might have had doubts that OG influencer extraordinaire, Paris Hilton, was ever going to date an average Joe, especially after her very public 11-month engagement — and ultimate breakup — with actor and model Chris Zylka. But Carter Reum’s resume is nothing to sneeze at. The Illinois native is an entrepreneur and co-founder of the all-natural vodka brand VEEV Spirits along with his brother, Courtney Reum, according to Refinery29. The brother team eventually sold the brand in 2016 to pursue their investment firm M13 full-time. Within four years of its founding, the firm has invested in Lyft, Classpass, Snapchat, and Pinterest, so you know the brothers mean business.

Speaking to Medium’s Authority Magazine, the siblings said about starting VEEV, “We went out on a limb together during those times — we quit our jobs, moved to LA, knew almost nobody, and began selling vodka out of the trunk of our Prius.” They added, “Those trying times definitely brought us even closer together, and we were able to grow VEEV and eventually sell it.”

Reum is also a successful author. Alongside his brother, the Columbia University graduate penned the 2018 “practical playbook” for entrepreneurs, Shortcut Your Startup: Speed Up Success with Unconventional Advice from the Trenches. The best-selling book earned praise from peers such as Girlboss founder Sophia Amoruso, and life coach Tony Robbins, Refinery29 noted.

As of August 2020, the Hilton-Reum duo is going strong and making all other business power couples jealous on Instagram. Now that’s hot.
