Voodoo Music + Arts Experience Canceled For Third Straight Year

06/17/2022

New Orleans’ Voodoo Music + Arts Experience has been called off for the third straight year.

“Voodoo Music + Arts Experience will take a pause in 2022. Take care of your krewe and follow along on social media for updates,” the organizers said in a message posted on the festival’s website and social media accounts.

Organizers did not cite a reason for the cancelation.

This will be the third consecutive year that the popular annual festival featuring national and local acts is being cancelled.

After the Voodoo Fest was held in City Park in October 2019, the event did return for the next two editions due to the pandemic shutdown.

The total attendance for the three-day festival has been consistently increasing in thousands for the last many years.

The 2019 edition of the festival featured headliners Guns N’ Roses, Post Malone, Brandi Carlile, the National and Beck.
