Tristan Thompson Wishes Ex Khloé Kardashian a Happy Birthday (Again)
06/28/2020Who says you can’t be friends with an ex? Uh, apparently not Tristan Thompson. Khloé Kardashian’s ex-boyfriend (and father to their adorable daughter, True) posted a lengthy Instagram caption wishing her a happy birthday.
“I’m wise enough now to know, you came into my life to show me just what it means to be an incredible person,” he captioned the cute pic. “I appreciate how I am able to learn from and grow because of you.”
It’s pretty clear that he’s referring to his 2018 cheating scandal when he was spotted making out with a woman who was definitely not his then pregnant girlfriend. After a brief breakup, KoKo took him back before their relationship ended again in 2019. It seems like Tristan’s learned from his mistakes, but it might be too little, too late.
“I thank God for the beautiful and loving woman you are to everyone, especially our daughter True,” he continued. “You deserve the world Koko! True and I love you mama.”
Despite their oftentimes problematic relationship, Khloé is warming up to the idea that her ex will be in her life for the long haul. Us Weekly broke the news that the exes are even quarantining together.
“Being quarantined has made her have a soft spot for him, and she knows he will always be part of her life in some way because he is True’s dad,” an insider said. “Khloé has been open and receptive toward Tristan.”
Judging from his posts, Tristan is not hiding his love for Khloé. And, we can’t help but wonder if the exes will eventually get back together. We mean, stranger things have happened.
