Trisha Yearwood ‘Grateful’ After Receiving First Dose Of Covid-19 Vaccine

Country music star Trisha Yearwood is feeling “grateful” after receiving the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine.

Yearwood, who is married to country superstar Garth Brooks, shared a photo that showed her receiving the first dose. She took the first jab weeks after recovering from the coronavirus.

“This #EveryGirl finally got her first dose of the vaccine!” Yearwood captioned the picture. “To all who made this day possible, thank you. xo #grateful.”

In February, Brooks had shared that his wife tested positive of COVID-19 after contracting it from a member of their team.

“Anyone who knows me knows my world begins and ends with Miss Yearwood, so she and I will ride through this together,” he wrote at the time, adding of his wife, “she’s a fighter and she’s been doing everything right, so I know we’ll walk out the other side of this thing together.”

In early March, Yearwood shared that she no longer had the virus.
