Tina O’Brien unfollows ex Ryan Thomas and Lucy Mecklenburgh amid baby ‘row’

A soap fan has noticed that Tina O'Brien no longer follows her ex Ryan Thomas on Instagram .

After Tina posted a cryptic comment remark about 'not trusting what you see on social media', it seems she's unfollowed his account.

It comes after he confirmed he was expecting his first child with girlfriend Lucy Mecklenburgh over the weekend using a  tear-jerking video of daughter Scarlett , who he shares with Tina, finding out their happy news.

Tina appeared to take a swipe at Ryan and Lucy before adding another post that read 'don't waste time with explanations. People hear what they want to hear'.

She has since severed her social media ties to them both.

Many of her fans have been taking to her comments to debate what is going on behind the scenes with one writing, according to the Sun : "None of them even follow each other on here, so I would guess it’s not amicable.

"Shame really when they’ve both clearly moved on with their lives.

"Surely if the little girl is happy and loved, that’s the main thing and she clearly is by everyone, Lucy included.

"It’s clear from the video how Scarlett hugged her first."

Tina would often leave comments on Ryan's posts in the past.

Other fans hit out at Tina's post: "I hope this isn't about the baby announcement. If it is then maybe you should speak to Ryan and Lucy privately rather than make a social media swipe."

"Now that's a weird post…" said another.

"Delete this. It just looks jealous," replied a third.

While some sided with her and condemned Ryan for including Scarlett in the announcement: "I watched the video of the balloon announcement and I found the whole thing very uncomfortable to be honest.

"Firstly didnt think it was fair on the child to have it all so public.

"Children instinctively know when they have a reaction expected of them and the poor girl didn't know what to do and so responded with tears."

Another added: "Her mum might have been cross that a video of her daughter so emotional was made so public. I doubt after so long there’s any jealousy there."

Former real life soap couple Tina and Ryan dated for six years before splitting in 2009.

The duo have remained on good terms and co-parent their daughter Scarlett, who was born a year before they split.
