Bieber posted a photo on Instagram of himself, Braun, and Kanye West — another person that Swift is not on good terms with — and captioned it: “Taylor Swift what up.”
Bieber has since deleted the photo and issued an apology to Swift. How was she supposed to invite you over for tea?” (The “revenge porn” portion referred to Kanye West’s “Famous” music video which featured a naked body double of Taylor Swift.)
Internet users went wild and many believe that this was a confirmation that Bieber cheated on Gomez. Throughout Bieber and Gomez’s relationship, there have been numerous cheating allegations at different times.
Back in 2015, Bieber revealed in an interview that he and Gomez struggled with fame and trust. “We were working out how to be in a relationship, how to be ourselves, who we were, in the middle of having people judge our relationship through the media,” he said. “I think that really messed my head up too… Because then, it’s like trust and all this other stuff that starts messing with your mind. You’re on the road. And there are beautiful women on the road. And you’re just getting yourself into trouble.”
A year later, during a heated back-and-forth conversation between Bieber and Gomez on Instagram, Gomez said: “Funny how the ones that cheated multiple times are pointing the finger at the ones that were forgiving and supportive.”
