Surprise, Surprise, Mark Cuevas From Love is Blind Is a Dad Now

We all have that favorite cast member on dating reality shows. For Too Hot to Handle, it’s Melinda (or maybe that’s just me, but no one can deny that she carried season 2). Rachel Lindsay from The Bachelor is another favorite, and, of course, there’s our dear Mark Cuevas from Love is Blind. One of the youngest characters on the Netflix show, Cuevas instantly became a fan-favorite with his easygoing personality and charming looks (he’s fine as hell, y’all).

But what really blew fans away was his commitment to, well, commitment. Not many young men are willing to settle down in their 20s, but Cuevas proved otherwise. From the get-go, he was enamored with castmate Jessica, despite their ten-year age gap (she’s 34 and he’s 24). But alas, Jessica only had eyes for Barnett and their relationship fizzled badly (she turned down his proposal in the finale, leaving him heartbroken). Ouch.

However, that’s the thing about love: it always shows you more about yourself, and it looks like Mark has learned his lesson. He spoke with Men’s Health and revealed his key takeaways from his time on the show, including not proposing to someone you’ve known for ten days no matter how “right” it feels. “I’ve become a better communicator, and I’ve become a better man,” he says. “I’m not scared to be vulnerable with anybody. I’m a very open book, and I’ve learned that it’s okay to be as open as possible. That’s what true connection is about.”

So, where is Mark now? The hopeless romance must have found a better partner suited for his needs, right?

Of course, a great guy like Mark was snatched up quickly. He is currently engaged to Aubrey Rainey, who he met in an Atlanta restaurant. Not only are they the same age (bonus!), but they also now have a child together—a little baby named Ace. Oh, and did we mention he and his wife have a YouTube channel? More Mark content here we come!

Though Mark might have not found love on the Netflix show, he did find more about himself and what he’s looking for. He’s living his best life as a new family man. What else can us fans ask for?
